Your Pathway to MIBD

At MIBD, we welcome ambitious students from diverse backgrounds. Our admissions process is designed to ensure that every learner has the academic foundation, skills, and motivation to succeed. Eligibility varies depending on the programme level you wish to join, as well as your country of study.

General Entry Guidelines

  • Minimum Age: Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of enrolment.
  • Academic Background: Applicants must provide academic transcripts, certificates, or other proof of prior learning for verification.
  • Mature Learners (21+): Applicants with relevant work experience may be considered even if they do not meet traditional entry requirements.

Programme-Specific Entry Requirements

Level 3 Diploma Programmes (Foundation Level)

  • Open to learners who wish to progress to higher education.
  • Entry requires:
    - 5 or more passes at GCSE/Grade 10 (or equivalent), or
    - High school leaving certificate from a recognised board, or
    - Equivalent international qualifications
  • Mature Learners (21+): Applicants with relevant work experience may be considered even if they do not meet traditional entry requirements.

Examples of eligible students:

  • India: Completion of Grade 10 (Secondary School Certificate)
  • Nepal: Completion of SEE (Secondary Education Examination)
  • Sri Lanka: Completion of O-Levels (with passes in 5 subjects)
  • UAE: Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent

Level 4 Diploma Programmes (Equivalent to Year 1 of UK Bachelor’s)

Entry requires:
A recognised Level 3 qualification, or
Completion of A-Levels (2 subjects minimum), or
High school completion (Grade 12) from an accredited board

Examples of eligible students:

  • India: 12th Grade (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards)
  • Nepal: +2 / HSEB (Grade 12)
  • Sri Lanka: A-Levels (2 passes minimum)
  • UAE: General Secondary Education Certificate (Grade 12)
