Logistics courses in Dubai: common questions

Which logistics courses does MIBD offer in Dubai?

MIBD offers the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Each is worth 120 credits and is made up of six units.

Is this a supply chain management course?

Yes. Both diplomas are management qualifications covering operations, procurement, inventory, contracts and supply chain strategy. They are not freight-forwarding licences or customs-broker qualifications.

What are the entry requirements?

Level 4 typically needs a relevant Level 3 diploma, two A-levels or an equivalent Grade 12 qualification. Level 5 typically needs a relevant Level 4 diploma, A-levels or an equivalent Grade 12 qualification. Applicants aged 21 or over with relevant work experience may be considered, and English language evidence is needed if English is not your first language. See Course Eligibility for details.

How long does a logistics diploma take?

The Level 4 diploma is designed to be completed in one academic year of full-time study. Part-time, blended and online options are available; the admissions team can confirm the current timetable for Level 4 and Level 5 in your chosen study mode.

How much does a logistics diploma cost in Dubai?

Each MIBD diploma costs USD 7,500 before applicable scholarships, including everything for your programme, and Level 4 and Level 5 are separate diplomas. Instalments are available through Tabby. Eligible students from India, Sri Lanka and selected African countries can receive a regional scholarship of up to USD 2,500 on eligible programmes. See Fees & Scholarships.

When can I start?

Intakes start every month. Apply by the 25th to start the following month; international students should apply at least two months ahead to allow time for the student visa.

Can a logistics diploma lead to a degree?

OTHM states that Level 4 is academically equivalent to Year 1 of a three-year UK bachelor’s degree and Level 5 to Year 2. Universities with OTHM progression arrangements may consider Level 5 holders for a final-year top-up, but each university decides who it admits. See Degree Pathways.
